The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is a common admission test for the candidates seeking admission to the Undergraduate Programmes.It is conducted by IIT in the month of April every year.candidates can attempt for JEE only twice,in consecutive years.Candidates can submit application either on-line or off-line through prescribed (OMR) application form.Candidates belonging to GE,OBC and DS categories should have secure atleast 60% marks and candidates belonging to SC,ST and PD categories must secured atleast atleast 55% marks in aggregate in the Qualification Examination.(XII standard or any equivalent examination).

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering( GATE) is an all-India examination administered and conducted jointly by the All India Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the national coordinating Board-GATE department of Education,Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD),Government of India. Candidates can submit application either on-line or offline.Bachelor degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes can apply.

Joint Management entrance Test (JMET)
is a test process of admission for candidates seeking admission to the MBA programme for IIT & IISc.Candidates with B.E/B.Tech or equivalent from a recognized instituion or University OR a Master's degree or equivalent in any discipline with first class are eligible to apply .Students in the final year are also eligible to apply.JMET application has to be submitted ONLINE
